This is very good. I think you should add the scripture Romans 10:13- Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. No matter who you are or what you've done, call out on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
Also, I John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. It really is simple. Simply confess we have sinned and ask the Lord to forgive us, with a sincere heart, and He will.
We as Christians make salvation so complicated, when it really is that simple.
1. Know that God loves you
2. That Jesus came to the earth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross and was raised from the dead on the third day.
3. Confess your sins, and cry out to the Lord for forgiveness.
4. He will forgive you and cleanse you from everything you have done, making a way for you to walk in His marvelous light.
I leave you with this one thought:
You may not think it is "cool" to live a Christian life, or go to church. You want to be popular and in the "in-crowd". Remember this one thing. When you leave this world and go into eternity, and you stand before Almighty God, those friends will not be there. You will be alone. You will have to give an account of YOUR life. What will that outcome be?
I would rather be unpopular, shunned and even rejected, than to stand before the Lord and have Him say to me, "Depart from me ye worker of iniquity, I never knew you." So, the next time you feel that tugging at your heart, simply yield. Give your heart and life to Jesus Christ. It WILL be worth it.
Be blessed.
